The three-way mixing valve operates using an internal thermostatic element. Oil, circulating in the screw compressor, absorbs heat from the compressor. The hot oil circulates through the thermostatic element within the valve and is delivered to a heat exchanger, providing cool oil to the other side of the valve.
The thermostatic element modulates oil flow from both the cold and hot oil ports to maintain the outlet temperature within ±10°F (±5.6°C) of the rated temperature setpoint.
Easy to maintain, the valve can remain online.
Durable Teflon® sliding seals are compatible with most refrigerants, oils, and temperatures.
