Non-condensable gas monitoring
Hansen offers a self-contained non-condensable gas monitor, model AIR-NH3, specifically designed for industrial refrigeration systems. This monitor consists of a waterproof controller, a pressure sensor, and a temperature sensor. When correctly installed, it continuously measures the refrigerant pressure and temperature at the condenser outlet to confirm the presence of non-condensable gases in the refrigeration system.

Product Introduction:
Hansen provides an independent, integrated non-condensable gas monitor, model AIR-NH3, specifically for industrial refrigeration systems. This monitor consists of a waterproof controller, a pressure sensor, and a temperature sensor. When correctly installed, it continuously measures the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant at the condenser outlet to determine the presence of non-condensable gases in the refrigeration system. The quantity of non-condensable gas is displayed on the controller screen in PSIG or BAR; pressure, temperature, or the quantity of non-condensable gas can be displayed independently; when the amount of non-condensable gas exceeds the set value, causing the pressure to exceed the set value, the device will have an alarm output to alert the operator.
Additionally, the AIR-NH3 monitor calculates an estimated value of the excess energy consumption caused by the presence of non-condensable gases. This energy consumption value is updated hourly in monetary units (USD or other currencies). This provides users with a reference for whether to add an automatic air separator or perform routine maintenance on existing air separation equipment.
The NEMA4 rated controller can be installed near the automatic air separator in the machine room or other locations convenient for operation and maintenance, or near the outdoor evaporative condenser; the 4-20mA output signal can be directly transmitted to the customer's PLC control system for remote monitoring of non-condensable gas conditions.
