Details
The Hansen safety valve rupture disc indicates whether the safety valve has lifted and relieved pressure. After the safety valve relieves and discharges, the valve stem will reset, but the ruptured rupture disc safety membrane will remain open. A pressure gauge or safety valve rupture disc pressure switch fitted to the rupture disc provides a visual or electronic indication.
In addition, the safety valve rupture disc uses a fully sealed structure, eliminating any possibility of leakage through the safety valve seat.
