Details
These heavy-duty flanged pneumatic shut-off valves are designed to control refrigerant flow in large industrial and commercial applications.
They are normally open, spring-return, and require no pressure drop to operate. Valves are best mounted sideways for better excess liquid or oil delivery and to avoid trapping.
A pilot solenoid valve is required to control the high-pressure refrigerant gas used to close the pneumatic valve during defrosting.

This direct-acting valve is normally open, spring-return, and closes when high-pressure refrigerant gas is introduced. It is ideal for use during defrosting or for low-temperature return line shut-off. These valves are well-suited for low-temperature applications, effectively shutting off return lines, liquid lines, flooded system return lines, and gravity liquid and gas lines during defrosting. They can also replace return solenoid valves in applications requiring low pressure drop. Like the HCK5D, they use pneumatic actuation to close, ensuring reliable operation at low temperatures and with viscous fluids.
